Dr. Melissa Gibson
We all want the best for our children, especially when it comes to their oral health and beautiful smiles. At Shenandoah Smiles, Dr. Melissa Gibson provides expert pediatric dental care with a mother’s gentle touch, ensuring both parents and kids feel informed and at ease. She prioritizes education, taking the time to answer questions, and address concerns with warmth and expertise.
Dr. Gibson’s journey began with a biochemistry degree from Stetson University, followed by a doctorate from NYU College of Dentistry and a residency at the National Naval Medical Center. Her Navy career took her worldwide aboard the U.S.S. Carl Vinson, leading to advanced training in pediatric dentistry at Virginia Commonwealth University. A board-certified Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, she has also served as Chairman of Pediatric Dentistry at the Naval Postgraduate Dental School. Now she calls Winchester Virginia home, where she lives with her husband Bob, their three daughters and one boy, and a lively household of animals.

Linda Brenda Wansi DDS
Dr. Linda Wansi earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and completed her pediatric dentistry residency at the East Carolina University School of Dental Medicine. She is a board-certified pediatric dentist and has been proudly serving patients at Shenandoah Smiles Pediatric Dentistry since August 2022.
Dr. Wansi is passionate about providing gentle, high-quality care and is dedicated to making each child’s dental visit a positive and uplifting experience
Mark Adabi DDS
Dr. Hassan Mark Adabi is a board-eligible pediatric dentist with a strong commitment to creating positive, lasting dental experiences for children. A proud Northern Virginia native, he completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Virginia and earned his D.D.S. from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry. He went on to complete his pediatric residency at BronxCare Health System in New York, where he served as Chief Resident.
Dr. Adabi began his career in general dentistry, but soon discovered his passion for working with children—especially after seeing how many adult anxieties around dentistry could be traced back to early negative experiences. This insight inspired his shift to pediatric dentistry, where he now focuses on building healthy, confident smiles from the very first visit.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Adabi enjoys playing guitar, cheering on the Washington Commanders and Wizards, and exploring new destinations—Alaska being a favorite. He looks forward to supporting families with compassionate, expert care.
